On Tuesday, the finalists for The Spirit of CNU were announced in the DSU Breezeway. The event opened with a speech from Dean of Student Affairs Kevin Hughes, as well as remarks from first lady Mrs. Angie Kelly. Assistant Director of Alumni Relations Grace Sharlun (CNU class of 2021) then announced the finalists one-by-one. Each finalist had their own walk out song and Kelly placed a sash over their shoulders. The celebration and announcement ended with confetti cannons and a balloon drop.

Students can vote for Spirit of CNU on The Compass until Friday, Oct. 20 at 10:00 PM. The winners will be announced during halftime at the homecoming football game Saturday, Oct. 21.
