As of October 22, ABC’s Project FiveThirtyEight (538) reported that democratic party nominee and vice president Kamala Harris leads in the polls by 1.9% at 48.2%, a raise in contrast to previous polling. 538 also reported that former president and republican party nominee Donald Trump sits at 46.3% in the national polls.
Harris recently called out Trump on her Instagram account saying “Donald Trump is a serious threat to the security and livelihood of Latino men and their families.”
The post also includes bullet points from what life was like under Trump’s presidency for many Latino Americans and the effects Trumps Project 2025 Agenda will have on Latino Americans.
Trump recently made an appearance at the 11th Hour Faith Leaders meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina on Oct. 21. He gave a “speech to the largely Christian audience focused on school choice, gender issues and religious liberty” according to Deseret News.
However, during the entirety of his speech, Trump did not mention abortion, which has been a key issue for many voters.
CNBC reported that Trump also recently ‘worked’ at a McDonald’s restaurant in Feasterville, Pennsylvania. The shift was used as a way to attack his opponent, Harris, as he often claims she lied about her time working at a McDonald’s. During his time, he operated the fry cooker and spent time working at the drive-thru.
“Though we are not a political brand, we’ve been proud to hear former President Trump’s love for McDonald’s and Vice President Harris’s fond memories working under the Arches,” McDonald’s said according to CNBC.
