The Captain’s Log is the official student newspaper of Christopher Newport University. It is a public forum, which is published Wednesday online and Thursday print release throughout the academic year.

The Captain’s Log (CLog) is the voice of Christopher Newport University students. As a student-run newspaper, we seek to give voice to students, faculty and staff, and we strive to be the main source of news for the CNU community. While offering students real-world experience in writing, editing, photography, business management and marketing, among many other areas, our goal is to provide relevant information and an entertaining publication for CNU.

The Captain’s Log is always open to students who are interested in writing, photography, digital media and editing.
