With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, getting stocked up on your holiday-fitting is at the top of most people’s list. Whether you’re craving a certain nostalgic candy from your childhood, or in the mood to try something new, this list has something for everyone. Here are my 10 favorite sweets for the holiday.

  • Fun Dip

As a kid, I always loved how long Fun Dip lasted when I ate it. The sweetness of the dip and then getting to eat the stick afterwards always made Fun Dip one of my most favorite Valentine’s Day candies. If you loved Fun Dip as much as I did growing up, consider giving yourself a taste of nostalgia this holiday.

  • Reese’s

Unless someone is allergic to peanut butter, then everyone needs to try a Reese’s peanut butter heart at some point in their lives. It’s the perfect combo of sweet and savory, while also being shaped for the occasion. What gets much better than that?

  • Nerd Ropes

The sweet and the crunchiness twisted into a colorful rope of gummy is the best combination of flavors I can think of. Nerds are among the best to-go candy when you need a quick sugar rush!

  • Hershey Kisses

Hershey kisses are already named for Valentine’s day, so they automatically make this list. The simplicity yet sweetness of them makes them timeless. Who doesn’t love chocolate?

  • M&Ms

There are so many M&M flavors out now that everyone can find something they like. M&Ms are varied and shareable, there is no doubt that they’d make it on this list somewhere.

  • Ring pops

Ring pops come in an assortment of amazing flavors and can also be a fun little gimmick with you and your significant other by acting as a “promise ring,” super cute idea for couples.

  • Chocolates with cherries:

I am a big fan of anything that includes cherries. I could eat a whole jar of cherries. So the fact that they would be covered in chocolate is a great combo.

  • Chocolate covered pretzels

Sweet and salty can never be beat. Point. Blank.

  • Chocolate covered strawberries

Strawberries are my absolute favorite fruit. The taste of it mixed with milk chocolate is top tier.

  • Gummy hearts

Last but not least, gummy hearts have so many fruity flavors that they come in. If you aren’t a huge chocolate fan, then gummy hearts are the way to go.
