Happy Halloween, Captains! With Halloween tomorrow, this weekend is bound to be filled with fun activities. Here are a few reminders before you go out this weekend to keep you and your fellow Captains safe.
Share your location
Whether you’re taking someone trick-or-treating or going out yourself, share your location with someone you can trust in case of emergency. Whether that’s your parents or a friend, make sure someone can help find you if necessary.
Walk in groups
Avoid walking alone. Go with friends, see if someone else is going in a similar direction as you and walk in a buddy system.
Wear bright clothes
Have something on you that produces light. Whether that’s a bright piece of clothing or even your phone flashlight, have something that lets other people (such as cars) know you’re there.
Whether you’re staying in or going out, be safe and be smart. Watch your surroundings, stick together, don’t trust random strangers and look out for one another. Most importantly, have fun! Happy Halloween!
