With Halloween right around the corner, everyone is scrambling to put together the perfect costume. For some who are incredibly busy, this can be difficult to accomplish, especially if you are lacking in ideas and time. However, there are so many amazing costume ideas that you can put together very quickly and efficiently. Here are some ideas that can help get you started.
- Sabrina Carpenter
Who wouldn’t want to be Sabrina Carpenter this Halloween? This would make a perfect solo costume that is easy to put together. All you would need is a frilly corset, a flowy tank top, and some platform boots. You can even put on Sabrina’s signature tights and face gems to complete the look! This is such a simple and cute costume that is cheap and allows you to rewear the pieces of the costume in other looks.
- Good & Bad Witch
This is such a fun and easy costume to do with another person! Not to mention, it’s also an easy costume to throw together last minute. For this costume, I would draw from Wicked and look at costumes inspired by Glinda and Elphaba. For Glinda, I would find a very cute pink dress with white gloves and a cute crown. To class up the look a bit, add a cute wand in your hand. For Elphaba, focus on black clothing, lace gloves, and green tights. Add a witch hat and the look is complete. This costume also allows you to reuse articles of clothing in your closet.
- Pirate
A pirate costume is such a cute and easy Halloween costume to do. All you would need is a flowy white longsleeve, a corset, a black skirt, and a pirate hat. This costume is great because you can already use things from your closet and don’t have to buy too many things. If you wanted to go above and beyond, you could buy an eye patch and a sword to complete the look. If you don’t want to buy a pirate hat, another option would be to buy a 99 cent bandana at the store.
- Sailors
This costume is such a fun costume to do individually or in a group. All you would need is anything dark blue, whether than be a tank top and shorts or a dress. Then you would just need a sailor hat to complete the look. You can also wear a red scarf around your neck to finish the look. A simple and cute costume that doesn’t cost too much money to put together.
- Mario Brothers
If you and your bestie are video game lovers, you will love this costume inspiration. Dressing up as Mario and Luigi is such a creative Halloween costume and can easily be done. For Mario, wear anything red and just make sure you have a red hat. You can create a letter ‘M’ on a sheet of paper and glue or tape it to the red hat to enhance the costume. Similar to Mario, wear green for Luigi and create the letter ‘L’ for the green hat. This costume is fun, creative, and people will be able to tell who you are dressing up as.
- Carrie
This is a very fun and creative costume to do at the last minute. All you need is a dress that you don’t care about as much and a lot of fake blood. Take the fake blood and pour it down your head and dress to create that effect from the movie. Then all you need is some flowers and a crown. There! Now you created the iconic scene from Carrie when she was pranked with fake blood during prom.
These are super easy and fun Halloween costumes to do with minimal to no effort! Remember to be creative and have fun while crafting the perfect Halloween costume!
