Right after the combine ended, teams are trying to improve their rosters before the draft and have a chance at making a playoff push. So far, teams have gone all-in, suggesting that this upcoming season won’t be one to miss.
One of the first major trades was Baltimore acquiring Maxx Crosby for two first-round draft picks: the 14th overall in the upcoming draft and a selection in the 2027 draft. Crosby has been one of the league’s most dominant pass rushers and adding to the Ravens’ already dominant defense could make them title contenders.
However, the Ravens lost their starting center to the Raiders in a record-setting contract signing for 81 million dollars for three years. The Raiders are looking towards rebuilding, holding the first and 14th draft picks in the first round. After releasing their quarterback, Geno Smith, who signed with the Jets, the Raiders will look completely different next season.
The Buffalo Bills made a major offensive move by trading for wide receiver D.J. Moore from the Chicago Bears. In the deal, Chicago received a 2026 second-round pick, while Buffalo also gained a fifth-round pick along with Moore. Josh Allen has been looking for another target receiver, and by signing Moore, the Bills have a good chance at finally making it past the Divisional Championship.
The Los Angeles Rams pulled off one of the most surprising moves of the offseason by trading for cornerback Trent McDuffie from the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City received a first-round pick, multiple late-round selections, and a future third-round pick in exchange for the young defensive star.

Perhaps one of the most surprising quarterback developments occurred in Miami. The Dolphins moved on from their previous quarterback and signed Malik Willis to a three-year, $67.5 million deal, giving the young quarterback a chance to prove himself as he takes over Tua Tagovailoa’s job.
