Top 10 couples costumes

Fun choices when you’re both stumped!

Sometimes, you and your partner want a really cute and couply costume, but are just completely stumped. Don’t worry, you guys aren’t alone. As it happens I’m currently in that same boat. To throw out some ideas, and in no particular order, here are some ideas that me and my partner are currently trying to choose from.

  • Tinkerbell and Peter Pan

My nickname as a child derived from Tinkerbell, so the fact that this is in our top costumes, makes me happy that everything came full circle.

  • A Sailor and a Mermaid

I am all for everything makeup and glam. Dressing up as a mermaid with my partner dressed as a sailor makes me so excited for halloween all the more.

  • A Firefighter and the Fire

My boyfriend is a firefighter, and let me just say…he loves his job. He was very excited to tell me about this idea. For myself, I would be engulfed in flames while he stood there in some very handsome firefighting gear.

  • The Purge

To be honest, I’ve never seen this movie. However, the costumes and makeup look so cool that I wouldn’t even complain about it.

  • Men in Black

Once again, I have never personally seen this movie, but the costumes that Pinterest showed me made me a little giddy.

  • A Cop and Prisoner

As a criminology major and future detective, all I can say is you can guess whose idea this was…and whose most excited about this one.

  • Mario and Princess Peach

After the new Mario movie came out, I am very happy to say that the Mario and Peach costume idea made it to the finals in my boyfriend and I’s top picks.

  • Cupid and Love

This one is  a little more unique. How can someone dress as love? Well, if I personally dressed up with my boyfriend as these, he would be cupid, while I would be covered in hearts and a red dress. Very cliché but super adorable.

  • Harley Quinn and Joker

For those of you who aren’t really into the softer sides of costumes and want something with more edge, these two are the perfect pair. The story behind them is a whirlwind of chaos, and the perfect costume-inspiring duo.

  • Alice in Wonderland and Mad Hatter

Alice in Wonderland is a big classic that many love. If you and your partner are looking for something movie-inspired, this is a perfect inspiration for you.
