2010 was the last time we had a Prince of Persia game. While the newest entry won’t feature the same plotline and characters, its fast paced gameplay and new direction will hopefully revive and bring the series back into the picture. The first trailer did stir up some divisive reactions but it has been subsequently endorsed by the series creator, Jordan Mechner.

6.Star Wars Outlaws

The Star Wars games have had up and down reception for years. But with the Jedi series’ success, there is a new hope (pun intended) for the future of Star Wars video games. This bold new game will be an open world adventure set in between movies 5 and 6. The promise of exploring the Star Wars world and the diverse gameplay mechanics showcased have gamers and Star Wars fans foaming at the mouth for its release next year.

5.Alone in the Dark

Release Date: January 16, 2024 on PS5, XBox Series X/S, and Windows

The Alone in The Dark series was considered to be DOA after the last entry was poorly received in 2018. But this star studded remake headed by THQ will bring the franchise back to basics and throw fans back into the horror of the Louisiana bayou once again.

4.Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Release Date: February 2, 2024 on PS5, XBox Series X/S, and Windows

After many delays, it’s here. The game follows the Suicide Squad trying to stop a brainwashed Justice League and Brainiac from taking over the world. The promise of exciting gameplay, an intriguing story, and Kevin Conroy’s final portrayal as Batman is going to be a must get for fans of DC and the Arkham series.

3.Tekken 8

Release Date: January 26, 2024 on PS5, XBox Series X/S, and Windows

Tekken 7 was a massive hit with fighting game fans, and has been considered the best in the series. With the return of the beloved mechanics, old and new characters, and a promise to top Tekken 7, fighting game fans are going to love what Tekken 8 offers.

2.Skull and Bones

Release Date: TBD 2024 on Amazon Luna,  PS5, XBox Series X/S, and Windows
